Lois Salmon Toole is an American artist who was born in the 20th Century. The maker’s first piece to be offered at auction was “Old Stone Church” at Gray’s Auctioneers in 2019. Baycrafters plate of horses. Purchased in the mid 1990s by Linn and Laura Sheldon. Linn of Cleveland WEWS TV5 Barnaby fame, for a purchase price of $275.
Founded in 1948 as Baycrafters in Bay Village, it was the dream of local artists to bring art and cultural opportunities to the quickly growing surrounding communities on Cleveland’s west side known for quality art education and events.
